NZLS is changing and so is the New Zealand legal profession it represents. The Law Society is determined to transform itself, to modernise and show it is relevant and in step with the values and tempo expected of a leadership body in modern Aotearoa.

Therefore, this year’s Annual Report reflects a more progressive and contemporary society. 'Transforming for the Future’ was our creative springboard to signal these changes and reflects the path NZLS is creating to create a successful and inclusive future for NZLS members and for New Zealanders.

Positive transformation suggests progress, so we visually supported this narrative with a graphic that runs across the entire report. This graphic, represented quite literally as a progress bar, advances on every page as the reader moves through the content. Uplifting imagery of real and engaged people brings a sense of momentum to the content.
